AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Richmond County Schools Board of Education announced Dr. Malinda Cobb and Dr. Keith Simmons as finalists for the district’s permanent Superintendent job.
The decision was made during Tuesday’s regularly scheduled BOE meeting, following executive session.
Cobb has served as the district’s interim superintendent since the Kenneth Bradshaw resigned from the position.
Simmons was most recently the superintendent at the Spalding County School District. The decision was passed 9-to-1.
