Monday: A VIPIR 6 Alert Day continues for dangerous heat and humidity!
High heat and humidity continues today followed by scattered afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. Highs today again in the low 100s. A Heat Advisory remains in effect through this evening, with another in effect for Tuesday. A Extreme Heat Warning is in effect for our western lying counties in Georgia for today thru 8pm Tuesday. Uncomfortable heat continues through the week but a cold front, expected by next weekend, will bring cooler temperatures into the area.
