This is what ChatGPT thinks is the most reasonable theory of what happened to Amy Bradley

Amy Bradley was last seen in March 1988 on a cruise ship, whilst on holiday with her family. Then, she disappeared and nobody knows what happened to her. The case has been examined in a new Netflix documentary, which raises a whole host of theories about what might have happened. So, whilst there are so many theories out there, ChatGPT has summarised them all, and said which Amy Bradley theory it thinks is the “most likely”.

Amy was 23 at the time of her disappearance, and was a a recent college graduate, travelling with her family. On the night she went missing she had been in the club on the ship, then was last seen in the early hours of the morning, on the balcony of the family cabin.

The ship was docking in Curaçao shortly after. When her father Ron went to check on Amy in the morning, she was no longer there. Extensive searches of the ship were carried out, but they turned up nothing.

Giving a summary of the case, ChatGPT said: “Amy Lynn Bradley’s disappearance is one of the most mysterious and unsettling missing person cases involving a cruise ship. She vanished on March 24, 1998, while on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Rhapsody of the Seas, near Curaçao in the Caribbean. There are several major theories about what might have happened to her, but no definitive answers.”

It then went on to break down the four “main theories”. They are: Human trafficking and/or abduction, Amy chose to disappear or ran away, she fell off the ship and passed away, or that there was a third party onboard the ship who was involved.

When ChatGPT was asked what it thinks happened to Amy Bradley, it shared the theory that is most likely

ChatGPT said nothing is confirmed, but “what most likely happened” is the theory that Amy was taken, and trafficked. It said: “While there’s no hard evidence, the human trafficking theory is the most widely supported by experts, private investigators, and Amy’s family.

“The repeated sightings in Caribbean locations, combined with the vulnerabilities associated with cruise ships in foreign waters, point to the possibility that she was abducted and taken off the ship before authorities could search thoroughly. Her case remains open, and her family continues to seek answers. There’s still a $250,000 reward for information leading to her recovery.”
