She might now have been booted from Love Island, but Helena certainly made her mark in the eyes of people on Twitter as one of the designated “mean girls” with Meg.
Helena was dumped from the 2025 Love Island villa during Thursday night’s episode, and she’ll no doubt return to the UK to find people combing through her old Twitter account, talking about her situationship with Harry, and people calling her a “mean girl” online. One critic in particular, Michelle from Twitter, collated a few of those nasty comments in a post that has since been viewed almost 500k times.

“Since Love Island wanna give Meg and Helena the victim edit, here’s just a few of the nasty things they’ve said abt other islanders,” Michelle wrote on Twitter.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, a lot of them were about Shakira, with number one reading: “Who does Shakira think she is?”
“Why is it always about f**king Shakira?” another reads, with the third adding, “Shakira’s so desperate she’d fancy a plant.”
Mean girl Meg also said: “I’d be well gassed if Harry fucks her over and comes running back to you, Helena.”
The other nasty moments read:
- “Shall I wear Shakira’s bikini?” to which Meg responded, “Yeah, f**k it, why not.”
- “Shakira’s the last person to f**king threaten me”
- “Shakira can’t take my name out of her f**king mouth”
- “I’d love to see Shakira look like an idiot”

“Bottom line of this tweet is that Meg and Helena aren’t innocent like the producers are tryna make out, yes Toni and Shakira have been nasty too, but it’s crazy that they’re getting the villain edit and not the other two. Argue with the walls if you disagree,” she added.

The post has recieved upwards of 14k likes as almost a hundred people reacted in the comments. Most people seem to be anti-Love Island’s Meg and Helena, but there were a few supporters.

“Not a fan of Meg or Helena!” one person wrote.
Another said: “@LoveIsland, you’re a joke for making Shakira and Toni look mean when you leave these comments out.”
“The Facebook mums and 2 GCSE Max girls will still somehow defend Meg and Helena after this,” someone else said.
