Marcus Rashford has scored for the first time in a Barcelona shirt and insists that he is not worried that he is yet to be registered to play in La Liga.
The on-loan Manchester United forward came off the bench in a pre-season friendly against South Korean side Daegu and scored his team’s final goal in a 5-0 win.
It was a smart finish from the England international, adding to two goals from Gavi and one each for Robert Lewandowski and Toni Fernandez.
Rashford appears to be settling in well in his new surroundings after getting the dream move to the Camp Nou that he had been pushing for.
However, there still remains the issue of the 27-year-old being registered to play in La Liga in the forthcoming season, which is not yet the case.

Barcelona’s precarious financial situation has led to them struggling to register players in the past as they try and stay within financial fair play rules which include a salary cap.
Rashford is not alone, with Joan Garcia, Wojciech Szczesny and Gerard Martín also yet to be registered and he says the situation is not a concern for him.
‘I’m not worried about my registration,’ he said. ‘I think it’s something the club needs to resolve, and I’m confident it will happen. I’m focused on training and being ready for the start of the season.’
As far as that training is going, Rashford is pleased with the work he is putting in as he looks to rebuild his career after falling out of contention at Old Trafford.
A loan spell at Aston Villa last season was steady if unspectacular and he has been handed a golden opportunity to turn things around at Barca, which he feels he is taking.

‘It’s been a good preseason and we’re ready for the start of the season,’ he said. ‘I’ve integrated quite well and I’m adapting to the team and the coach.
‘There are a lot of great players here, but I knew that before I came. The quality is very high and the intensity too, and that’s what we need to maintain throughout the season.
On his goal-scoring target for the season, he added: ‘As many as I can. I know it will be different for me to play in another country and in a different style of football, but I accept the challenge and will try to score as many goals as possible.’

Barcelona get their La Liga campaign underway at Mallorca on Saturday August 16, so there is time to sort out Rashford’s registration, but not a huge amount of it.
It is not a foregone conclusion that registrations will be secured, with Dani Olmo and Pau Victor both seeing theirs revoked last season before being reinstated.
Olmo was a £50m signing from RB Leipzig last year and there was the possibility that he could leave on a free if his registration was not confirmed, but the club eventually got it sorted.
