Love Island might only have wrapped up a week ago, but already one of the 2025 girlies has seemingly confirmed she’s now dating a 2024 finalist. They don’t wait around!
Recently there have been rumours swirling that Emily Moran has been getting close to 2024 finalist, Ciaran Davies. Emily left the villa single, and Ciaran split up from Nicole, who he left Love Island alongside.
A source told The Sun: “Ciaran initially approached Emily when she left the show just to congratulate her and stuff on how she was and handled herself on the show towards the end, which got them to talking. Both have been getting to know each other on a more romantic level and they’re looking to see how things go.”
Now, it seems as though Ciaran and Emily have confirmed the romance themselves. They’ve done the classic give away, and posted identical photos on their Instagram stories. It appears they went on a date together in Cardiff over the weekend. The pair were spotted at Golf Fang – an arcade and cocktail bar – in the city centre.

Reddit was first to hop on the realisation. Of course! Discussing it, one person said: “Definitely not a coincidence!” Another said: “I feel like this is a perfect pairing.” Both Emily and Ciaran are from Wales, and someone else noted: “We know Ciaran loves his Welsh girls.”
Are we seeing the next big Love Island crossover? The Tab was first to reveal Ciaran had split up from former Love Island girlfriend Nicole, just days after they defended their relationship. Their rep said: “Over the last couple of days Nicole and Ciaran have made the mutual decision to part ways. They have left the relationship on amicable terms, and will remain good friends going forward.”
