When Abi gets jealous of Carl flirting with Tracy, she lets slip which room Carl is staying in at the Chariot Square Hotel, and he is later shocked to see Tracy emerge from the shower.
After Tracy is encouraged by Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) to try again with Carl, he admits that he is in love with someone else, and when Tracy names Abi he tries his best to put her off the scent.
Unfortunately for him, Tracy is like a dog with a bone, and doesn’t rest until she spies Abi and Carl kissing through the kitchen window. What will she do with this information?
There is more drama for the Websters when Debbie collapses, and Abi must call an ambulance and Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) while Carl hides upstairs.
Carl and Abi aren’t the only couple who can’t keep their hands to themselves next week, as Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) gets an unfortunate eyeful of Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) and Steve McDonald’s (Simon Gregson) moment of passion.

Elsewhere, Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) puts Underworld in jeopardy when she takes a huge risk with client Eli.
Eli is shocked when Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) is revealed to be Sarah’s boyfriend, having had his car searched for illegal parking by him prior to the meeting.
As Eli makes to leave, determined Sarah pushes him back into his chair and locks him in to force him to listen to her pitch.

This backfires massively for both Kit and Sarah when Eli starts making complaints. Carla Connor (Alison King) is furious as she reveals that he is telling everyone in the business that Sarah is a sexual predator, while DI Costello interviews Kit about the claims of intimidation against him.
Meanwhile, Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) breaks the news to his younger sisters that mum Lou has been sentenced to four years in prison. Things escalate when a social worker arrives with a psychologist, and a scream from the garden later causes panic.
Also, Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) and David Platt’s (Jack P Shepherd) bin wars continue, while Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) must explain herself after new love interest Ollie spots her with Laila.
