We have our first look at Trader Joe’s newest line of mini canvas tote bags, and they’re adorably spooky. It’s the same tiny totes we know and love, but in those familiar Halloween colors.
This year’s new Halloween edition mini tote bags are expected to be released sometime in September or the first week of October for just under three bucks. No word on the exact date yet.
What Will They Look Like?
Trader Joe’s tote bags have created a rabid fan base that camps out hours before their release, and spawns eBay listings selling them for over $1,000. We expect the same level of fandom for these fun-size totes.
Good things do come in small packages.
At just 13-inches long, 6-inches wide, and 11-inches tall, these miniature canvas totes are perfect for carrying lunches, groceries, books, you name it. And at just $2.99 for each, they’re practically a steal.
You can expect 4 new eerie designs, including a purple, orange, black, or multicolored black, green, and purple option. These new mini tote bags are ready for a night full of trick-or-treating.
Will They Sell Out?
In February 2024, Trader Joe’s created pandemonium with the release of its viral mini tote bags. These came in blue, red, yellow, and green colors.
In Spring 2025, the grocery store re-released the popular bags in pastels: baby blue, delicate pink, mint green, and lovely lavender.
Like with previous releases, you’ll probably only be able to get up to 2 or 4 at a time, and may even be limited to one per color, depending on store policy.
These new Halloween mini tote bags are expected to be even more popular than the previous color schemes, so be prepared to get the day off and snag one or two of these coveted bags.
