Former Orlando Pirates striker Phumudzo Manenzhe has weighed in on what new signing Kamogelo Sebelebele brings to the Buccaneers’ attack.
The versatile forward joined the Betway Premiership giants this July after switching from TS Galaxy. Last season, Sebelebele made 29 appearances across all competitions, chipping in with five goals and two assists under coach Adnan Beganovic.
That form was enough to prompt a call from the mighty Orlando Pirates.

KAMAGELO SEBELEBELE MAKES HIS NAME IN THE MTN8 AGAINST MAMELODI SUNDOWNS
New Orlando Pirates player’s weakness confirmed
The 22-year-old from Tembisa wasted no time announcing himself, smashing home his first goal for the Sea Robbers in the sold-out MTN8 semi-final first leg against Mamelodi Sundowns at Orlando Stadium on Saturday, 16 August 2025.
New position for Orlando Pirates star?
The former Orlando Pirates striker Phumudzo Manenzhe has now shared his impressions on the Buccaneers’ new hero.
“He is a technically gifted player, you know. But what does he bring? He brings aggression, speed, and also the hunger to ask for the ball from behind,” Manenzhe told SuperSport TV.
“So, that is exactly how Orlando Pirates scored the goal [against Sundowns], with Sebelebele asking for the ball from behind.
“He is an out-and-out right winger. In the previous season, they had Mohau Nkota, who is left-footed, playing on the right, but this time they have an out-and-out right-footer on the right-hand side. When he receives the ball, there is no need to turn back to his stronger foot.
“He faced Ronwen Williams and became resourceful, putting the ball in the back of the net,” the club legend concluded.
