Metro readers had a lot to say watching Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) and Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) reunite in Emmerdale.
Yesterday, Aaron was outside the café when he heard loud bangs coming from Victoria Sugden’s (Isabel Hodgins) house.
He entered and found Robert in his bedroom completely trashing the place. He was throwing items and shouting, in distress after John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) told him that he’s a waste of space.
Aaron managed to calm Robert down and after, he listened to his ex as he spoke about life in prison.
These powerful scenes led to Aaron and Robert kissing and then sleeping together. Suffice to say neither of them really wanted to leave the bed, basking in the glow and enjoying the quiet, safe environment.
As they chatted, Aaron missed a call from John, and failed to realise that he was outside the house. John was chatting to Vic, but neither of them entered due to other distractions.

Back in the bedroom, Aaron and Robert chatted. They concluded that thinking about the sex and their chemistry wasn’t the main priority now, because they are both living complicated lives.
But, unlike Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick), there was a little bit of hope.
‘God knows I’ve made you wait’, Robert said. ‘It’s my turn to be patient’.
Aaron put his hand on Robert’s shoulder. They didn’t really say much, but they didn’t need to. It’s obvious the connection they have still hasn’t dissipated.
The former couple spending intimate time together was something fans have waited for ever since Robert returned earlier in the year. With their future being teased, plenty of audience members took to our Metro Soaps Facebook page to share their thoughts on the long-awaited scenes.
Mary Tranter said: ‘About time love these 2 together’.

Tricia Stanley certainly missed Robron, as she wrote on our page: ‘Love these two together. A great couple’.
‘Can’t wait for their reunion!’, Lucinda Bundy exclaimed.
Traci Winchcombe kept their fingers crossed for a long-term reunion for Robert and Aaron and wrote: ‘Love it get them back together and killer John can do one!’.
Over on X, other Metro readers were discussing their thoughts on the scenes from last night’s instalment.
The account Rob Sugden Enthusiast (wonder who their favourite character is!) admitted that the scenes where Aaron found Robert breaking down stood out for them the most.
‘Robert’s breakdown and Aaron being the one to hold him is up there with one of my fav scenes ever. Not stopped watching it’.
Kerry echoed this and wrote: ‘Roberts breakdown and Aaron being there bringing him out of it. Rob’s collapse in Aaron’s arms is something I will never forget. All the Time Robron were so good though.’

Robert made a brief return to the Emmerdale village in May.
He interrupted Aaron’s wedding to John, hoping that he could stop them from tying the knot.
Aaron seemed adamant that his future was with John, but couldn’t resist kissing his ex partner. As a result of breaking his bail conditions, Robert was sent back to prison shortly after.
Aaron, John and Vic all visited Robert while he was inside. During John’s meeting with his brother, he grew paranoid as he realised that Robert had already worked out there was something not quite right about him.
Last week, John orchestrated a plan that left Robert in a vulnerable place.
On Friday, he asked his nephew Harry to play his toy drum around Robert, knowing the loud banging would trigger him.
The plan worked in John’s favour, because Robert snapped and scared the boy. John arrived right on time and hugged Harry, acting like the hero once more.
With Harry out of the room, John made a great effort to tell Robert that his behaviour is totally unpredictable.

John used this to his advantage again by telling Victoria all about it. She confronted her brother, saying that she can no longer leave Harry alone with him.
Prior to this, John had handed Robert a business card for a therapist but as far as he was concerned, Robert was beyond help.
John twisted the knife in further by calling Robert a waste of space so when Vic confronted him, her words made him spiral even more.
Before the week ends, John will face a huge problem when it becomes apparent Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), Aaron’s best friend, knows a risky piece of information about him.

A trailer has been revealed that shows John chasing Mack through the woods, but will this be the first time he truly intends to murder someone?
Let’s not forget, when Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) was killed, John never planned for it to happen.
He gave Nate some medication and he had a bad reaction to it, leading to his death.
Could this be a sign that John will now become even more unhinged, ahead of his inevitable exit?
