RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – The power is out in and around Butler High School in Augusta.
According to the Georgia Power Outage Map below, the area covers portions of Lumpkin Road and Mike Padgett Highway.
NewsChannel 6 reached out the the Richmond County Schools System about the outage and they sent us the information that was sent to parents this morning:
Dear Butler Families,
In an effort to keep you informed, we are currently experiencing a power outage on campus. All students and staff are safe, and we are working with Georgia Power as they address the issue. We will provide an update once power is fully restored.
Thank you for your support of George P. Butler Comprehensive High School and the Richmond County School System.
