Elias Fritz, better known on social media as JaidoWorld, was arrested and charged with attempted murder among a number of other serious charges. The 19-year-old was allegedly involved in a high speed chase in the Bahamas that resulted in a shootout between police and the TikTok star.
The crime report from the Royal Bahamas Police Force indicates that three teenage suspects were driving a white vehicle in the early morning hours of August 11. Police officers working on ‘Operation Black Scorpion’ — a Bahamas initiative focusing on illegal firearm and drug crimes — happened to be patrolling nearby when they noticed the car “travelling without headlights at a high rate of speed.”
“Officers made attempts to stop the vehicle,” the official crime report reads, “still, they were unsuccessful.” The three suspects in the car continued to evade police as they began to open fire on the trailing officers.
Police returned fire on the three teens and continued to chase them until the suspects eventually crashed into a utility pole. The chase ended on Eastern Road in the northeast end of the island of New Providence.

The three teenage boys in the car sustained injuries from the crash, with one also suffering a gunshot wound to the butt. Fritz, another 19-year-old, and a 17-year old boy were given medical attention and arrested. Police also recovered a “high-powered weapon” from the vehicle.
While the high-speed chase was underway, another police patrolling officer came across a man nearby who was shot by somebody matching the vehicle description of Fritz’s white car. The man was also taken to the hospital and treated for his wounds.
Fritz and the other 19-year-old are being charged with attempted murder, attempted armed robbery, possession of ammunition, and possession of a firearm with the intent to endanger life. The two adults could face up to life in prison when they are sentenced at the end of this year.
JaidoWorld is a native to the Bahamas and also worked as a bartender at Tiki Bikini Hut in Nassau, just west of where his high-speed chase took place. After gaining micro-fame on TikTok while bartending, Fritz turned to modeling where he recently worked on a campaign for the Bahari Bahamas fashion line.
