This week in Emmerdale, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) told John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) they should leave the village and start life again.
The idea came about once Aaron slept with his ex Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley).
Shortly after, Aaron and Robert agreed to put their reunion on the backburner for now, as they were both living complex lives. Robert was more than happy to wait – but his definition of that was the hours between the sex and seeing Aaron the next day.
Robert was feeling hopeful and told Aaron they could just let John know of what happened, and then they could focus on their future. Given he spent so long believing his future was the inside of a cell, it wasn’t surprising that Robert got a little ahead of himself.
Unfortunately, because Robert was moving too quickly, it made Aaron feel quite overwhelmed.
Aaron’s guilt then increased when John returned home and ranted about the constant Dingle family drama. Unbeknownst to Aaron, John was feeling stressed because he had just heard DC Cole suggest that Owen did not kill Nate.

John told Aaron that ever since he became part of his family, all he’s done is ‘give, give, give’, and felt as though no one had really bothered to return the favour.
This prompted Aaron to tell John that they could just get away, start again. Given the fact Nate’s investigation was close to being reopened, this idea suited John perfectly.
With that, Aaron and John told Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) that they’re going for a little holiday but if they like the area they are staying in, they intend to live there permanently.
Typically when characters go away from the village, we see them staying in holiday cottages or hotels. While it’s implied that Aaron and John will stay in a holiday home, some fans of the ITV soap have worked out that may not be the case.

In some spoiler pictures released this week, Aaron is seen standing in a room holding a photograph. Eagle-eyed audience members have noticed that trophies are sitting on the dresser, fuelling the theory that the couple will be staying in a home somehow connected to John.
Because would a rental home really have this many personal items displayed?
‘Are we sure this is a holiday cottage because why are John’s trophies there is he that self obsessed he has to take them with him’, one user of X wrote.
Another echoed this theory and said: ‘You feel where ever they are, John has chosen the place as he’s familiar with it. Its not going to be some random place i doubt.’
If you look closely at the photo below as well, you can see framed photos of airplanes on the wall, medals presented on hooks, and certificates.
Plenty of other people have also worked out that the new set Laura Shaw teased earlier this year will more than likely be this house.

During the scene from these images, Aaron is said to be confronting John about a lie.
If they are in a house somehow linked to John and his past, could he have slipped up and forgotten to hide proof that he potentially isn’t a Sugden?
If so, it will leave Aaron in severe danger. Yesterday, his best friend Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) discovered confirmation that John had paid a man to lie to the police about Nate.

The caption below the picture of John and Ben that Mack saw mentioned ‘brothers’, but we are yet to get full confirmation they are actually siblings.
Could this trip away from Emmerdale see Aaron make this discovery?
Therefore putting him at risk of facing the same fate as Mack in tonight’s episode?
