The Wynn Encore Hotel in Las Vegas has responded with a statement after a Justin Bieber impersonator tragically tricked an entire nightclub into thinking he was the real singer.
His team went up to the DJ playing in the popular XS nightclub that night, Gryffin, and told them Justin wanted to perform his famous track Sorry. Who could refuse an offer like that?
The whole club went wild, and he performed the entire song before anyone realised he was actually a celeb impersonator called Dylan Desclos who performs as Bieber across the world. Awkward!
“After an elaborate and multi-step ruse by him and his advance team, a Justin Bieber impersonator was granted access to the XS stage,” the Wynn Las Vegas said in a statement to NBC. “As soon as the error was recognized, he was removed from the resort and denied future entry.”

Now, this is where it gets interesting. The Justin Bieber impersonator’s manager has also spoken out, and the stories don’t match up.
Declos’s manager told SF Gate they didn’t plan on performing on stage that night and just wanted to party there, but somebody from XS nightclub asked him to get up and sing.
“Somebody asked us if we would like to perform while we were already in the club. We just said yes,” he said. He also claimed they weren’t actually kicked out.
In a viral Instagram video about the terrible error, Gryffin blamed the “dark venue” and “loud music” for not realising he was a fake. Apparently, he really did sound like the Baby singer.
“After 4 minutes and 27 seconds of what sounded like Justin Bieber, I found out the worst news imaginable,” he said. His mouth fell open when a member of the team told him he was a sham.
