Ice cream lovers will have the opportunity to score free cones from Dairy Queen through the weekend.
Dairy Queen is offering free vanilla soft-serve ice cream cones, either plain or dipped, with any purchase of $1 or more, PEOPLE wrote Thursday. The deal is only good if you have the Dairy Queen app and are a rewards member.
This is the second time Dairy Queen has offered this perk this month. The chain also hosted its annual Free Cone Day back in March.
DQ has plenty of new offerings as well
In order to access Dairy Queen’s free cone, a customer must purchase another item in the first place. There’s no shortage of options, including several new items from DQ.
This month’s Blizzard of the Month is a REESE’S Caramel Craze Blizzard Treat, complete with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, chocolate shavings, and salted caramel truffles.
Other limited time summer treats include six other Blizzard options: S’mores, Cotton Candy, Confetti Cake, Dipped Strawberry Cheesecake, Superman Cake Batter Cookie Dough and Mixing Bowl Mashup.
Later this month, Dairy Queen will launch its Fall 2025 lineup, which leaked a little while ago.
New fall menu features several seasonal favorites
Starting August 29, customers can access Dairy Queen’s updated fall menu, which includes the return of a longtime fan favorite as well as two new offerings.
Coming back to the fold, much to the delight of many DQ fans, is the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard, which contains pumpkin pie pieces, soft serve ice cream and whipped cream and is always popular during its limited-time only menu runs.
The Pumpkin Pie Blizzard will be joined by two debut creations: the Caramel Toffee Cookie Blizzard Treat and the Maple Cake Shake. The former features cookie pieces, toffee and caramel with vanilla soft serve ice cream.
