We’re all looking for ways to stay hydrated while pleasing the palate and meeting our nutrition needs. That’s why there are hundreds, maybe thousands, of options for drink packets and vitamin waters on the market. Gatorade is one of the originals when it comes to offering electrolytes to keep active, busy people healthy and thriving.
Their new Hydration Booster packets sold at Costco provide an electrolyte blend with no artificial sweeteners, flavors or added colors for daily hydration. Each 0.35-ounce packet should be mixed into 20-ounces of water for on-the-go ease and convenience.
The packets come in strawberry watermelon, citrus berry and tropical mango flavors and provide 30-calories, 300-mg of sodium, 5-grams of sugar, and meets 100% of your daily vitamin C, B6, niacin and pantothenic acid needs, plus 50% of your daily vitamin A needs. The ingredients list mainly includes dried watermelon juice, sugar, citric acid, sea salt and the added vitamins listed above, and then some.
While many individuals are watching their sodium and sugar intake (by the way, these packets only have 3-grams of added sugar), they’re mostly designed for active individuals who need to replenish their bodies with sodium and carbohydrates that are lost during physical exertion.
Costco’s 24-pack of these flavors retails for $28.89 and is available online (this price includes shipping). It can also be found in-warehouses, and prices may vary depending on location.
Reviews are just starting to come in on Costco’s website regarding Gatorade Hydration Booster. One person said, “Great tasting electrolytes. I’ve enjoyed all three flavors”. An Instagram follower exclaimed, “wow [these] are really good!”. Others commented, “We love these! Our girls take them to their soccer games”, “so convenient” and “we love it”.
If you’re intrigued by these new packets, grab a pack at Costco.
