An urgent search has been launched for a missing teenage girl believed to have made a journey to London from Northampton.
Alexis, 15, was last seen on Tottenham Court Road in the capital on Saturday, after visiting sights including Leicester Square and Marble Arch.
She is also thought to have travelled to Heathrow Airport and its surrounding area,
Her initial 70-mile journey from her home to London is believed to have taken place at 10.30pm on August 15.
Alexis, who also goes by Lexi, is 5ft, of slim build and has long, dark hair.
Anyone who spots the teenager is urged to contact 999 immediately.
Detective Inspector Rory Wilkinson, from the Met’s missing persons unit, said: ‘We, and Alexis’ family, are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.’
He asked the public to take a ‘close look at the photo we are issuing today’ and contact police if they recognise Alexis or have any information.
