It’s official: Brooklyn Beckham’s beef with his family has now turned into gammon.
The budding chef, hot sauce mogul, and professional owner of white T-shirts, flew into London this week to collaborate with culinary royalty Michel Roux Jr. at the Langham Hotel’s Wigmore restaurant.
Together, they whipped up gammon, egg, and chips. But Brooklyn, 26, wasn’t just serving gammon. He was also serving shade.
During the video, he declared he’d ‘only fly back to London for this dish’—a statement which would sting if you happen to be, say, his mum, dad, or literally any of his three siblings, for whom he seems unwilling to fly back to London.
Roux, who has Michelin stars and actual culinary credibility, humoured Brooklyn’s sauce brand Cloud23 by glazing gammon in it with a touch of maple syrup. Roux swore the resulting dish would ‘fly out of the kitchen.’
At the start of the video, Roux says: ‘We are always looking for new dishes here at the Wigmore, but based on great classics. So gammon, egg and chips is a great British classic.’

For his part, Brooklyn looked genuinely nostalgic, saying he ‘used to have gammon, egg, and chips every Tuesday.’
It was hard not to suspect Brooklyn may have been missing his family in that moment: Did David cook that Tuesday night meal? Did Victoria just sit in another room with her famous steamed fish and veg?
Brooklyn and his family were last pictured together on Boxing Day last year, and he has seemingly done his best to avoid them and the UK since then.
There have been rumours of fallouts ever since Brooklyn married Nicola Peltz, 30, three years ago, and speculation has only mounted over the past few months.

The family has largely maintained a dignified silence on whispers of an ongoing feud, despite cryptic social media posts.
But Brooklyn’s unexplained absence from his dad, David’s, birthday celebrations was enough to convince most fans that something is definitely afoot.
More recently, Brooklyn and Nicola decided to renew their vows, an event from which Brooklyn’s own family was noticeably absent, as rumours continued to swirl that the eldest Beckham boy has fallen out with his family.
At this point, someone should just get the entire family to hash it out on Come Dine With Me. Winner takes the Cloud23 hot sauce, loser has to eat Victoria’s steamed fish forever.
