Two huge revelations since the Netflix doc may hold key to what happened to Amy Bradley

Since Netflix dropped Amy Bradley Is Missing, all anyone has been thinking about is the truth of what really happened to her. The three-part series raised lots of theories and potential sightings, but we still don’t know the truth.

Amy Bradley was last seen in March 1988, on a Royal Caribbean cruise with her family. Some think she fell overboard over the balcony of the family cabin, and others think she was kidnapped.

Her disappearance has never been solved. But Netflix missed out a few parts of the story, and some of these omissions point in the same direction. They’ve come to light since the show, and are very interesting.

A detail missed out the Netflix doc proves there’s ‘no way’ Amy Bradley fell overboard

One of the biggest theories is that Amy Bradley fell overboard. This is because she was last seen on the family balcony, and may have fallen over the edge. But, Brad Bradley – Amy’s brother – appeared on Courtroom Insider with Nate Eaton, and shared a detail that disproves the theory his sister fell overboard. He said there’s “no way” it’s true.

Brad explained the ship had already docked when Amy went missing, and then full searches of the surrounding waters were done. He said given the ship was at the port, and not out at sea, if Amy had been in the water, they would have found her.

“The boat [was] not at sea,” he said. “I know a lot of people may have that misconception that we’re out in the middle of the ocean when this happened. We were at Curaçao.” Brad explained a member of staff confirmed “the boat was sitting completely still” during the window Amy is believed to have disappeared.

“The time frame Amy disappeared we were no further than right in front, we’re talking 100ft, from the shore,” he said. “With tides being as predictable as they are, and the search efforts that were made, for days, they assured us that if she was in the water they would have found something.”

And another detail raises a huge lead in the kidnapping theory

A witness statement from the night Amy Bradley went missing was also missed out of the Netflix series. Someone claimed to have seen Amy being taken from the ship in the early hours of the morning she disappeared, and this account was not featured in the documentary.

Also whilst speaking on Courtroom Insider with Nate Eaton, Brad shared the compelling detail. “There was a third eyewitness who wasn’t mentioned in the docuseries who testified,” Brad explained. He said the woman spent a lot of time in the Viking Lounge, the club Amy was seen in, and was there in the early hours in the morning following, on the day of Amy’s disappearance.

Brad said the woman saw Amy go into an elevator, and then to the “back area” of the ship. He added: “She testified that a young girl, who she suspected to be around 18 or 19 years old came out the back of the bar or kitchen yelling, ‘Señorita kidnap! Señorita kidnap!’.”

Brad said he and his family have tried to track down the bartender who was yelling, and the eyewitness who saw this happen. “We’ve not been able to at this point,” he said. “We have no idea who the young girl who she claims said the kidnap part is.”

There have also been a couple more sightings reported on since the Netflix documentary came out. One main shockingly claimed to have “rented” Amy from an escort website recently, and a police officer had a “verifiable” sighting of her in 2016.
