Why We Love This Deal
REI is having a massive Labor Day sale on all kinds of hiking and running gear, but that’s not the only place you can find big savings on breathable shorts this weekend. Nordstrom, of all places, has a pair of Vuori’s comfortable running shorts on sale for less than what REI and Vuori itself are charging. It’s the kind of unexpected, not all that common discount that makes Labor Day shopping worth it.
You can pick up a pair of Vuori 2.0 Trail Shorts for $62 at Nordstrom right now, 20% off their normal $78 price tag. The deal is good on two colorways, Pacific/Heather Grey and Light Deep Sea Stripe/Salt. Vuori has quickly become one of the most popular activewear brands around, and these shorts are great for trail running and hiking in warmer weather.

These lightweight shorts are made of polyester and elastane, so they’re durable and stretchy. Held in place with an elastic waistband and functional drawstring, they also have front slant pockets and a back zipped pocket, the latter for safekeeping while running. We are big fans of the built-in, boxer brief-style liner that adds support where you really can’t have too much.
