LIVE SCORING | Proteas v England: First ODI

After recently picking up a 2-1 ODI series win over Australia, the Proteas return to action on Tuesday for the first game in a three-match One Day International series, which will then be followed by three T20 Internationals (T20I) to be played across England and Wales from 2-14 September.

For the first ODI, captain Temba Bavuma has revealed changes to the Proteas XI from the last Australia game as Lungi Ngidi and Nandre Burger return to the attack.

Bavuma added that both Matthew Breetzke and Kagiso Rabada, who picked up injuries on the recent tour to Australia, remain unavailable.

“We are still managing certain guys from a workload and injury point of view. KG and Matthew are still on that workload management,” Bavuma explained.

Tuesday’s ODI starts at 14:00pm (SA time).

Proteas XI: Tony de Zorzi, Ryan Rickelton (wk), Temba Bavuma (c), Aiden Markram, Tristan Stubbs, Dewald Brevis, Wiaan Mulder, Corbin Bosch, Keshav Maharaj, Nandre Burger, Lungi Ngidi.
