The Conagra food brand appreciates that flavor partnerships bring excitement to the snack category.
First, this new food is a chicken stick. That protein choice is not only a smart nod to its restaurant partner but also captures a food trend. Chicken sticks have seen a large market growth over the past couple of years.
The two new chicken stick flavors are Buffalo and Hot. Both items infuse the classic BWW sauce flavors into the meat snack. Each stick contains 6 g of protein. The suggested retail price is $1.99 per item.

Which BBW x Slim Jim Flavor Delivers the Boldest Flavor?
Recently, I had the opportunity to taste test both the Buffalo and Hot Chicken Sticks. Since I am a huge fan of spicy, even extremely spicy food, I did not shy away from the intensity that these two flavors offered.

The Buffalo has just the right amount of tanginess that I expect from this flavor profile. The punch of vinegar hits first. Then, the slow burn builds. It is strong, but not overly intense.
Overall, this flavor feels like a good chicken wing sauce that does not require a dousing of ranch to temper the heat. It is just the right amount of spice that keeps the chicken stick from being one note.
The Hot is bolder. While the flavor is Buffalo amplified, it does offer that extreme flavor that cannot be ignored. Not only does it start spicy, the fiery notes linger. It did not make me rush for a slice of cheese or a glass of milk, but it is not for the spice adverse.
If I had to choose the Buffalo or the Hot, the Hot wins hands down. For fans of Buffalo Wild Wings sauce, they will appreciate the connection. At the same time, it stands on its own and it the intense flavor that satisfies my cravings.
