AEW Brings Pay-Per-Views to HBO Max in New Streaming Deal

After a nearly six-year partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, AEW is taking its streaming services to a brand new level. In an official press release from the wrestling company, they announced a partnership with HBO Max to exclusively stream pay-per-view events.

The new rollout will take effect with AEW All Out on Saturday, September 20, at 3 p.m. ET from Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada. Preorder for the AEW PPV will be available on HBO Max on Friday, September 5, for the price of $39.99 on supported devices.

Once they purchase the PPV, fans can easily access it under “My Purchases” in the app’s “My Stuff” menu. They will also have access to replay the event for six months. When it comes to pesky ads, fans can expect an ad-free PPV experience, with all marketing and promotions during the event specifically for HBO Max.

AEW fans are in for a lineup of events leading up to AEW All Out, with the company also revealing TNT and HBO Max will premiere the one-hour live show AEW Saturday Tailgate Brawl: All Out at 2 p.m. ET.

TNT and HBO Max will also be live from London, Ontario, for a special three-hour show titled September to Remember. The special will air a few days earlier on Wednesday, September 17, at 8 p.m. ET with some of the company’s top stars ready to build up the excitement for the PPV.

Along with the news of pay-per-views, HBO Max users also get access to AEW’s extensive library of content. As well as weekly episodes and the first two years of Dynamite on TBS, and new installments of Collision on TNT. Fans can also stream AEW’s PPV events all through the end of 2024.

AEW currently houses wrestling stars like Edge, Christian Cage, Kenny Omega, MJF, and Kazuchika Okada.
