Brooks Nader Attended a Carlos Alcaraz Match Amid Jannik Sinner Dating Questions

Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have been pretty mysterious about their dating lives, with both saying in separate interviews that it can be challenging balancing professional tennis and girlfriends.

As far as anyone knows publicly, Alcaraz, 22, doesn’t have a girlfriend, and Sinner, 24, does, which is a fairly recent development he has just confirmed.

In fact, he told the Italian-language publication Corriere Della Sera that he’s in love, right as the U.S. Open started. He did not provide a name, and comments by Brooks Nader’s sister increased talk that his girlfriend might be model Brooks Nader.

However, other theories centered on Danish model Laila Hasanovic, especially since fans believe Sinner had Hasanovic’s photo as his cell phone wallpaper during a U.S. Open match, according to The New York Post. A gelato owner has now confirmed to Correre Dello Sport that Hasanovic, not Nader, 28, is Sinner’s girlfriend, and Nader revealed to Jimmy Kimmel that she attended a different player’s match although she stayed coy about Sinner.

The rumors about Sinner stem from Nader’s sister Grace Ann Nader saying on the Page Six Radio podcast that athletes from “every field and court” have messaged Brooks, adding, “it rhymes with winner.” That sparked talk that she was referring to Jannik Sinner.

Brooks Nader Confirmed That She Attended a Match at the U.S. Open, But Jannik Sinner Wasn’t Playing

Peppered with questions about Sinner from talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, Nader made it clear that she didn’t even attend Sinner’s match, although she didn’t outright deny dating him. She was at the match that featured another top player, and The New York Post says it was Alcaraz’s match.

Nader was photographed in the crowd watching Alcaraz, the number 2 ranked men’s tennis player in the world, defeat Arthur Rinderknech, according to The New York Post.

“You were at the U.S. Open on, what Sunday (Aug. 31), and you’re sitting there with the Colberts,” Kimmel said, referring to Stephen Colbert and his wife, Evelyn. Nader said she wasn’t there with them; it was a coincidence.

“Are you dating the Italian tennis superstar, Jannik Sinner?” probed Kimmel. “Go ahead.”

“Is this like an interrogation? I’m so scared right now,” Nader responded.

“It is, and you’re under oath,” said Kimmel.

“Well, ask Stephen what match we were at. I don’t think he was playing in that one. You’re close. You’re warm,” she said.

“Oh, I see. Oh, it’s somebody else. It was someone else?” asked Kimmel.

“You’re warm. But we weren’t at that match,” Nader said.

For his part, in 2023, Alcaraz said he hadn’t had a girlfriend for some time because of the pressures of professional tennis.

“It’s complicated, never staying in one place,” Alcaraz told Vogue in 2023.“It’s hard to find the person who can share things with you if you’re always in different parts of the world.”
