In a blockbuster third round of the Rugby Championship, the Springboks ultimately fell short against the All Blacks at Eden Park, while a late try from the Wallabies enabled them to claim a hard-fought win over Argentina.
It’s made a big difference to the Rugby Championship standings, with New Zealand now well placed at the top with 10 logs points, just ahead of second placed Australia (nine points).
The Springboks’ title defence is in turmoil as South Africa and Argentina now are level on five log points, and with the same points differential.
