Despite leaving James Bond behind five years ago, Daniel Craig is looking suave as ever as he embraces his silver fox hair.

The star has let his hair grow out from his familiar 007 close-cropped cut, showing off his salt-and-pepper style.

Daniel, 57, is currently promoting the third movie in the Knives Out franchise, in which he stars as gentleman detective Benoit Blanc.

This time, he will be joined by Mila Kunis, Andrew Scott and Jeremy Renner for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.

Daniel and the cast attended the Toronto Film Festival before heading to Variety Studio for a chat about the upcoming film.

His hair was clearly holding his castmates’ attention as Mila, 42, brushed rogue strands out of his face.

Mila had her signature dark hair slicked back into a bun while her co-star kept things more casual, wearing jeans and a black bomber jacket.

The fit was a far cry from his roles as Bond and Blanc, who is also a fan of suits but the more colourful variety with ascots and cravats.

‘How lucky am I to get to play something like this?’ Daniel said to People Magazine. ‘That’s all I can think of when I think about this character’

He continued: ‘I mean, I’ve played Bond and now I’m suddenly playing Benoit Blanc. It’s dumb luck. I’m very lucky.’

Bond fans hardly think it’s ‘dumb luck’ as his iteration of 007 remains one of the most popular ahead of the franchise’s reboot.

Front-runners for the Amazon MGM Studios-controlled franchise rebirth include Marvel’s Tom Holland, Happy Valley’s James Norton and Dua Lipa’s fiancé Callum Turner.

Even Pierce Brosnan declared he would return to the role over two decades after he bowed out if director Denis Villeneuve had ‘something up his sleeve’.

Daniel is unlikely to make a cameo as he confessed his 15-year run as 007 left him ‘strung out’ and ‘exhausted’.

‘Most actors are out of work for large chunks so you take your job offers – but they left me empty,’ he shared with The Times last year. ‘Then, bottom line, I got paid.’

In the six years between Casino Royale and Skyfall, Daniel appeared in 12 separate projects, not including the three Bond films.

Daniel continued: ‘I was so exhausted at the end of a Bond it would take me six months to recover emotionally. I always had the attitude that life must come first and, when work came first for a while, it strung me out.’

He does seem to be enjoying his work with Rian Johnson, though, despite rumours Wake Up Dead Man would be Blanc’s final outing.

‘[If he] writes another script and it’s as good as I think it probably will be, then it’s an easy decision,’ Daniel confimed.
