The anniversary year will kick off with a Star Trek float in the Rose Parade in Pasadena, California, on January 1, 2026.
‘The 60th anniversary celebrates ‘Space for Everybody,’ extending an open invitation to celebrate the future that Star Trek aspires to – a future of HOPE, a future of EXPLORATION and a future where we rise to the challenge to BE BOLD,” the announcement continued.

Star Trek will be celebrated with a flower-covered float in the annual parade. The design of the float will “reflect values of hope, inclusivity, exploration and unity, and will spotlight the upcoming new series STAR TREK: STARFLEET ACADEMY while honoring 60 years of StarTrek.””
Star Trek: The Cruise Sets Sail in 2026
Fans of the iconic franchise can join stars William Shatner, Walter Koenig, Marina Sirtis and more than 20 others on a one-of-a-kind Caribbean cruise.
The seven-night cruise aboard Royal Caribbean’s Adventure of the Seas, which is scheduled to set sale from February 20 to 27, 2026, will depart from Florida’s Port Canaveral before docking in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and Cococay.
New Star Trek Series Coming in 2026
CBS announced the launch of various new series in celebration of the anniversary.

Starring Holly Hunter and Paul Giamatti, “The series introduces viewers to a young group of cadets who come together to pursue a common dream of hope and optimism. Under the watchful and demanding eyes of their instructors, they discover what it takes to become Starfleet officers as they navigate blossoming friendships, explosive rivalries, first loves and a new enemy that threatens both the Academy and the Federation itself.”
Additionally, a new YouTube series, STAR TREK: SCOUTS, launched today. The animated series “marks the first preschool extension of the Star Trek franchise.”
A scripted podcast, STAR TREK: KHAN, also joined the ever-growing Star Trek universe.
