I consider myself a fragrance aficionado, purely because I own over 30 different scents and think it completes my outfit.
While I have a soft spot for zesty citrus scents, and fragrance enhancers, I have seen a huge surge in beauty brands launching sweet gourmand scents, and it seems cherry is the popular accord of the moment.
Cherry scents are often perceived as sickly sweet scents. Granted, some can be, which appeals to some fragrance wearers.
However, some cherry scents that have wafted into our nostrils of late can be opulent, dark and mysterious – in other words, alluring for date night.
From Phlur’s new Cherry Stem fragrance to Oriflame’s Cherry On Top, we have whittled down the best cherry scents worth dousing yourself in for the upcoming autumn/winter months.
Best cherry perfumes and fragrances for autumn 2025

WHO IS ELIJAH Cherry Fiesta Eau de Parfum
A fruity blend of mandarin, pear and anise as top notes warm up the senses before settling into the sweet and sensual core cherry accord with white floral accents. These sweet and warm notes are mellowed even further with base notes of vanilla and green patchouli for a sensory explosion in one spritz.

Tom Ford Lost Cherry Eau De Parfum
We expect nothing less from Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry fragrance, which combines all aspects of cherry. It includes top notes of black cherry, boozy cherry liqueur and sour cherry, which are combined with sweet yet soft Turkish rose, jasmine, followed by deep hearty notes of tonka bean, sandalwood, vetiver and cedar for a truly opulent scent that is longwearing. Available in three sizes, including 30ml, 50ml and 100ml.

Phlur Cherry Stem
A new release from Phlur and one we predict will be a huge hit with shoppers. This fragrance is subtly sweet and not too overpowering, but deep, dark and alluring. It is a fusion of dark fruits, including black cherry, plum nectar, combined with ebony wood, sugared jasmine, leather, and some citrus accords. It’s not too heady or sickly sweet.

Oriflame Love Potion Cherry on Top Eau de Parfum
While the bottle is a huge talking point, so is the scent itself. It is punchy, sweet and warming. This fragrance takes on a two-tiered approach to including the cherry scent, as cherry and mandarin combine for the top note, while black cherry, rose and Peru balsam are at the heart. The lasting aromas pull through as the fragrance wears on and intoxicates you with decadent molten chocolate, cedarwood and roasted tonka bean for the warmth and added depth.

Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry 48
One thing about Kayali scents is they are longlasting and bound to have a sweet hint to them. This rings true with Cherry 48, which boasts top notes of bergamot, raspberry and black cherry for a sweet, citrus and fruity layer, before melting down to sweet and caramel centre, and ending with woody palo santo, patchouli prisma and guaiac wood base notes. It’s almost good enough to eat.

Glossier You Rêve Eau De Parfum
After many years Glossier expanded its fragrance collection to include You Rêve, which we were fortunate enough to trial ahead of its official release. This fragrance honours the musky aromas of the original You scent, but adds notes of plum butter, sweet buttercream, sandalwood, iris, ambrox and toasted almond, which create the similar scent profile to the aforementioned cherry scents. It’s sweet, but not heady, musky, yet warm and aromatic.
