Whether or not the cast of Love Is Blind UK season two had intentions of making a marriage work can be roughly worked out by if they were scouted for the show, or if they applied. It was straight down the middle for this series: Half of the cast set out to get married and applied for the show, and half were approached by Netflix and gave it a go.
It wouldn’t be too wild to assume those who were approached probably gave their marriage a bit less thought. They were just one day asked if they wanted to get married on TV and said yes. Whereas others saw the idea of the show, and directly sought it out.
Here’s the breakdown of who from the cast of Love Is Blind UK season two was scouted, and who applied for the show.
Who from Love Is Blind UK season two was scouted?

via Netflix
In a very neat and coincidental turn, it’s actually been revealed that all of the men who took part in Love Is Blind UK season two were scouted for the show. Every guy we followed out of the pods was approached to take part by Netflix casting.
That means those scouted were: Kieran, Billy, Kal, Javen and Jed. Patrick, aka Mr Follow Your Spleen, is also believed to have been scouted.
Kieran shared a little story of how he was approached to be on Love Is Blind UK. “I got reached out to via Instagram DM,” he said in an interview. “I thought it was a scam or something, to be asked to be on the show. Once I checked it out it wasn’t. It was legit. Then I got cast.”
And who actually applied to be on the show?
That means, it was all the women who straight up applied to be on the show. So, they were the ones who went looking for marriage and wanted to commit to something before the application process. Who applied was: Megan, Ashleigh, Katisha, Bardha and Sarover.
“I actually did apply for the show,” Megan said of her application process. “I was dating in London, doing the whole Hinge thing. Wasn’t going well. Yeah. I just saw an Instagram post like, ‘Apply in five minutes’. I was like, right spice up your life. Sure. Gonna go for it. It worked out quite well.” Yes, it did!
