Mom stabbed to death by own son in home across from elementary school: cops

Jason S. Kurumoglu, 30, allegedly stabbed his mom, Melida Velasquez, inside their home tree-lined West White Street near Willen Lane in Brentwood – across from Brentwood’s North Elementary School, Suffolk County Police said.
