“Super Mario Galaxy” and “Super Mario Galaxy 2” are coming to the Switch and Switch 2 on Oct. 2.
They will be available both as digital downloads and in a combined physical version with the Switch 2 offering 4K resolution via a free download upgrade.
A “Super Mario Bros. Wonder” version for the Switch 2 is also in the works. It will add more content and enhancements and be available in the spring.
Prior to that, Nintendo will roll out “Mario Tennis Fever” with 38 playable characters and multiple game modes, including tournament and adventure, for the Switch 2 on Feb. 12.
On top of the games being released, Nintendo announced a new Super Mario Galaxy Movie is coming next spring.
