BURKE COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – Burke County authorities are on the scene of a multi vehicle wreck with serious injuries causing a part of Highway 23 to be shut down.
According to the Burke County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, Highway 23 between Hancock Landing and Jack Delaigle Road is currently shut down as deputies and EMA crews are responding to a traffic accident with injuries.
Authorities are asking motorists to avoid the area and to use an alternate route.
