‘American Pickers’ Star Mike Wolfe Hospitalized After Car Crash – Bundlezy

‘American Pickers’ Star Mike Wolfe Hospitalized After Car Crash

“American Pickers” is one of the top shows on the History Channel, and the show’s dedicated fanbase is worried about one of its stars after he was involved in a serious car crash.

Mike Wolfe shared images from a crash he was in along with his girlfriend Leticia Cline last Friday in Tennessee.

“By the grace of God, we’re both safe and okay,” Wolfe said, adding images of his mangled blue Porsche.

“We are both receiving excellent care and while Leticia is still in the hospital, she is expected to make a full recovery. Thank you for respecting our privacy at this time and we appreciate all of your love & prayers. God bless.”

Wolfe’s Girlfriend Also Suffered Injuries

Cline said on her own social media that her jaw hit the car’s shattered window, adding to the injuries she suffered in the crash itself.

“Hopefully I get surgery tomorrow,” she said. “Broken jaw (in a few places), broken ribs, sternum, collapsed lung and a lot of swelling on my spine. My mouth will be wired shut but I still got my brain and that’s all that matters.”

Earlier this year, Wolfe made the decision to close the Nashville location of his Antique Archaeology store. The reality star says the difficult decision came after the death of his ‘American Pickers’ co-star Frank Fritz.

Fritz died after complications from a stroke in September 2024, shortly after being placed in hospice care. In an interview with the New York Post, Wolfe said that he and everyone else who works on the show remembers Fritz in their own way, every day they work together.

‘American Pickers’ After Fritz’s Death

“He was such a big part of the show. He was my friend since 8th grade,” Wolfe said about his late friend.

“And a lot of times when we are traveling through a property there are so many things that capture our attention that connect us to him.

Wolfe said that closing the store was difficult for him because “this place has meant the world to me.”

“The visitors from all over the world who came through those doors, shared their stories, and reminded me every day why I started this journey in the first place.”

In an Instagram post commemorating the store’s location, Wolfe said that while he was proud of what he was able to accomplish there, he needed to pay more attention to “where [his] heart is calling [him] next.”

“American Pickers” has run on the History Channel since 2010, with 26 seasons and over 400 episodes. The show follows Wolfe as he searches the country for antiques and artifacts, often for buyers, resellers or for a person’s own collection.
