There are certain drinks that will always make it into the cupboards at Christmas, like prosecco and mulled wine.
Baileys is another festive staple, as it makes for the perfect after-dinner tipple on December 25.
There are various flavours of the Irish Cream available to choose from, such as Original, Cinnamon Swirl, Salted Caramel or Toffee Popcorn.
But it’s a brand new variety that you’re going to want to grab a bottle of from the supermarket, as I reckon it’s going to be the ultimate drink for Christmas 2025.
Baileys has teamed up with Terry’s to create a limited-edition treat that blends two of the nation’s favourite flavours – the distinctive taste of the creamy alcoholic drink and zesty chocolate orange.

Baileys x Terry’s Chocolate Orange is now available in retailers such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Waitrose, Morrisons and Co-op, as well as Amazon and the alcoholic beverage costs £11 for a 50cl bottle (17% ABV) – although prices may vary between stores.
Currently it’s on Nectar price for £11 at Sainsbury’s, but full price without a Nectar Card is £16.50.
If you can’t find it in the supermarket, don’t panic as you’ll also be able to try it in selected Greene King pubs and bars across the UK.
With more than two bottles of Baileys and two Terry’s Chocolate Oranges sold every second during Christmas time, this product is sure to prove popular with those over the age of 18.

What did Metro’s specialist food writer think of Baileys x Terry’s Chocolate Orange?
I was lucky enough to get my hands on a sample of the new Baileys x Terry’s Chocolate Orange Irish Cream ahead of its launch and I have to say, I was blown away by it.
I’m not always the biggest chocolate orange fan. It’s something I really have to be in the mood for, although I do enjoy the occasional to enjoy a Jaffa Cake.
As such, I didn’t think I’d be too fussed about this drink, but honestly I think it’s phenomenal.
Baileys and Terry’s have nailed the balance of flavours here, so it manages to feel like an indulgent sweet treat, but isn’t so sickly that you can’t manage more than a sip or two.
It’s a velvety smooth drink, with a rich and vibrant chocolate orange flavour that even those on the fence about Terry’s will enjoy.
I shared my sample of the drink with a friend and it was so fun to watch her face light up with joy after her first try. Unsurprisingly, she proclaimed it ‘incredible’.
I’m calling it now, this is going to be the ultimate must-have drink for Christmas 2025, and I’ll certainly be grabbing another bottle.
If you’re planning to do the same, remember to drink responsibly.
How to make a Baileys x Terry’s Chocolate Orange Martini
The new Baileys x Terry’s Chocolate Orange Irish Cream will taste great served on its own, or added into a hot chocolate during the festive season.
However, if you fancy getting a little creative, Baileys has shared a recipe to turn it into a martini cocktail.
To do this, you’ll need:
50ml Baileys x Terry’s Chocolate Orange
25ml Vodka
10ml Simple Syrup
Milk or Dark Chocolate to garnish (optional)
Method:
Add all of the ingredients to a cocktail shaker, shake and fine strain into a coupe or martini glass.
If you want a more decadent drink, you can always start by melting the chocolate for the garnish and pouring and swirling it around the inside of your glass.
Freeze the glass until the chocolate is set and then pour your cocktail over the top.
