Conservative political commentator Candace Owens has been publicly mourning Charlie Kirk since his assassination and demanding answers. In a 24-minute video uploaded to Facebook last weekend, she pays tribute to the late influencer while also revealing the final conversations she had with him leading up to his death, and the secretive meeting he allegedly attended with “powerful” people.
Candace claims when Charlie went to an event at the Hamptons in early August, an intervention was held by Bill Ackman, an American hedge fund manager and billionaire. She also said that Carlie was invited to Israel by Benjamin Netanyahu on a phone call at this meeting.

“Bill Ackman was very upset, and threats were made,” she said.
Candace further explained what she believed went down in this meeting, saying: “Charlie was offered a ton of money in this moment.”
“I know for a fact that Charlie denied that funding and declined to go to Israel,” she added. “That is what I was told and I am very happy for Bill Ackman to dispute this narrative.”
Bill Ackman has since responded to these allegations in a statement on X.
“I have never threatened Charlie Kirk, Turning Point, or anyone associated with him,” he said. “I have never blackmailed anyone, let alone Charlie, nor offered money to influence his opinion on anything.”
This afternoon @RealCandaceO slandered me by accusing me of ‘staging an intervention’ with Charlie Kirk in which ‘threats were made’ with respect to his supposed ‘evolving stance’ on Israel at an event I hosted in the Hamptons. Candace also intimated that I ‘blackmail[ed]’… https://t.co/mL6pajoX76

Candace claimed that she experienced a similar pressure after her opinions on Israel began to shift, but didn’t say where it came from.
“When I started asking very sensible questions about Israel, I was met with the very same pressure,” she said. “It felt like a threat.”
She reached out to Seth Dillon, owner and CEO of The Babylon Bee, who she says was also at the Hamptons meeting. The podcaster shows text messages that show Seth hadn’t replied to her, even though she was urgently asking for a comment.
“I’m not usually one to share text messages, but my friend was just shot in the neck,” she said.
Candace ends this segment by talking about one of the last times she talked to Charlie before his death on the 10th of September.
“One of my last conversations with Charlie was me joking with him, saying ‘Just make the last step’,” she said, referring to her claims that Charlie was considering converting to Catholicism. Candace claims this was a major influence in his shifting views on Israel.
