MAFS UK 2025 is set to start this week, and to be honest, thank god. Right now all I need is a chaos dating show and some good honest drama to get behind. I can’t wait.
The MAFS brides and grooms have been announced, the first looks are flowing. It’s looking as though it’s going to be a big one. Ahead of the show starting, some major changes have been announced. So here’s a little rundown of what to expect from the new parts of the show this year – that take effect from the moment it kicks off.

Two new changes to the format of the show have been revealed
There are some really big changes coming our way for MAFS UK 2025. One is a new detail being filmed with the brides and grooms, and one is a shake up to the show itself.
Firstly, we’re having a new element to start the show with a bang. Usually, we briefly meet the brides and grooms and then it’s straight into the weddings. However this time around, we’re having full-blown filmed stags and hen dos.
A TV source said: “The programme makers know that the process on MAFS already delivers some sensational moments, but this will just add to that. Because even in the most conventional of marriage paths the hen and stag dos are often the flashpoints when there are tears, fights and maybe even some moments of temptation.
“Capture all of that on camera and then throw it into the mix and you have some dynamite telly and plenty of spanners being thrown in the works as the participants prepare themselves for married life to a total stranger.”
The second change is to the overall scheduling of the show. This series will be nightly from Sundays through to Wednesdays for its first few weeks on E4. Previously, the show has aired Mondays to Thursdays. We’re getting MAFS UK at the weekend!
