Dead body found in pop star’s Tesla finally identified as horrible details emerge

Earlier this month, a dead body was found in a car belonging to the pop singer D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke. He was touring at the time, but was said to be “fully cooperating” with the authorities.

The Los Angeles Police Department came across the body on September 8 when people phoned in complaining of a “foul odour” from a vehicle in a tow yard. The car had reportedly been in the tow yard for a few days, with the body stashed in the front boot inside a bag. D4vd’s representative told NBC that he “has been informed about what’s happened, and although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities.” Crocs and Hollister soon removed advertising campaigns featuring D4vd “with respect” for the ongoing investigation.

Though another body was discovered at a nearby tow yard, it’s believed to be unrelated to the ongoing investigation into D4vd’s Tesla.

LAPD sources who spoke to TMZ revealed that the dead body in D4vd’s car was finally identified. Though a name is known to the police, they are unable to release it because the legal next of kin notification is still pending. However, they did reveal the body as belonging to a teenage girl between “14 and 15 years old.”

The police also said she was 5’1, weighing 71lbs and with black hair. She also had a tattoo on her right index finger that read “Shhh…” When she was discovered, the girl was wearing a tube top, black leggings, a metal stud earring, and a chain bracelet in the shape of a “W.”

D4vd is currently on tour, and while he’s continued to post on Instagram, he has yet to issue an official statement. It’s not yet known whether the car was loaned to someone or stolen.
