Ozzy Osbourne fans will get to see the legendary heavy metal rocker again in Paramount+’s upcoming documentary Ozzy: No Escape From Now. The documentary chronicles the last few years of his life, leading up to his farewell concert in Birmingham, England.
Fans will get to see everything from his health struggles, planning the concert, recording “Patient Number 9,” and personal interviews from the Osbourne family.
The official trailer revealed Aimee Osbourne will give a rare interview in the documentary. She appears in Ozzy: No Escape From Now, speaking about Ozzy’s health issues after suffering a fall that fractured his neck. Aimee is seen talking about the possibility they had to face in cancelling his final tour.
Aimee is the oldest of Ozzy and Sharon’s three children. Unlike Kelly and Jack, she made a decision early on in the family’s fame to stay out of the spotlight. She never appeared in their hit MTV reality show, The Osbournes, with many fans forgetting she’s the eldest.
She moved out of the house when she was 16, and felt that being in the public eye or being “on camera” would conflict with her values. In a 2015 interview, Aimee explained she was still trying to find herself amid the chaos of her family, and “so why on earth would I want that portrayed on television?”
“She couldn’t live in our house because we were filming and it drove her insane,” said Sharon in a June 2018 episode of The Talk. “She felt too that she didn’t want to grow up on camera. She hated the idea. It was appalling to her.”
Having stayed away from the spotlight, Aimee made a rare appearance when attending her father’s funeral and the procession in his hometown of Birmingham.
Ozzy: No Escape From Now premieres on Paramount+ on October 7.
