AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – Aiken County Deputies responded to a home on River Bend Drive for a violent incident.
Police spoke with two people who both accused Paul Stallings of assault.
Stallings’ ex told law enforcement that when she tried to leave the home in her car, he pulled her out by her hair and began punching her in the face.
Another man told police that when he tried to intervene, Stallings attempted to hit him with a large piece of wood. When that didn’t work, Stallings allegedly began beating him with a golf club and then a scooter.
The male victim was left with lacerations on his face and broken ribs.
Paul Stallings is charged with Assault of a High and Aggravated Nature and 3rd degree Domestic Violence.
