Why We Love This Deal
Running shoes have become somewhat of a fashion phenomenon over the last decade, partly popularized by the rise of athleisure as well as high-end designer adaptations. Brands like Saucony have managed to elevate style while continuing to make some of the most supportive runners you can get, like this pair that’s half off.
Over at Huckberry, the $160 Saucony Progrid Omni 9 Sneakers are down to $80. Out of the three colorways, Silver/Green has the most stock available at the time of writing, but the other two still have a decent amount of sizes to choose from.

What You Should Know
- Upper: Mesh with synthetic overlays
- Midsole: Dual-density EVA foam
- Outsole: High-traction rubber
- Sizes: 8 through 13
Part of what makes Saucony such a great brand is the inspiration it takes from older silhouettes. The Progrid Omni 9s, for example, are a reboot of a style from the 2010s, highlighting the Progrid technology that also came about at that time. Progrid is Saucony’s in-house cushioning system that provides lightweight support using a grid system (hence the name Progrid). On top, the shoes have a breathable synthetic construction with synthetic overlays connected to a dual-density EVA midsole. They’re finished with a high-traction rubber outsole to keep you stable during intense runs, and an eye-catching design that blends the past with the present.

What Owners Are Saying
If you head over to REI’s site, you’ll see glowing reviews for these shoes, but it doesn’t get much better than, “This is the greatest running shoe I’ve ever bought.” While the running capabilities are certainly premium, that support translates to all-day comfort as well, confirmed by another reviewer who said that they’re “great shoes for everyday use!”
Even die-hard Nike fans have been won over, like this reviewer, who said they’ve been wearing Nike and New Balance shoes their whole lives but made the change to Saucony: “I haven’t taken them off in two weeks.” A second owner actually compared them to their New Balances, and said they’re “much more comfortable than my New Balance 530s.”
Getting high-end running shoes from a legendary brand for under $100 is hard, and this 50% discount makes the Saucony Progrid Omni 9 Sneakers a no-brainer. Stock is looking full at the time of writing, but Saucony’s shoes tend to go quickly when they’re on sale, so be sure to grab a pair soon.
