Why We Love This Deal
Nike’s sale section usually has at least a few notable deals, but the discounts rarely top 39% off—and those models usually have very limited sizing in stock. But today, Nike has an under-the-radar deal that every sneakerhead should check out: A tech-packed pair of Air Max kicks are nearly 60% off, but only if you place them in your shopping cart first.
The Nike Air Max Dn8 is on sale for just $85, a massive 58% discount from its normal price of $200. That pricing applies to the Photon Dust/Team Gold/Black/Royal Pulse colorway (several other colorways are on sale with lower discounts), and it’s the product of two markdowns: an initial 39% off, and then an additional 30% off once you add the shoe to your cart.

What Shoppers Should Know
- Colorways Available: 1 for $85, 12 additional
- Sizes Available: 6-15
- Best Use Case: This is a casual sneaker, but it includes some really interesting Nike tech: Dynamic Air tubes in the sole. It’s a great pick for everyday wear if you want a little bounce in your step.
The Dn8 is a really unique shoe. It’s built with Nike’s Dynamic Air system, a series of eight pressurized air tubes embedded laterally within the sole—you can see the ends poking out when you view the shoe from the side. Each tube has two chambers, and air flows between them in response to the impact forces of your footfall. The tubes are embedded in foam for additional cushioning.
As reviewers point out, all this tech combines to create an exceptionally well-cushioned ride with plenty of impact absorption and responsive bounce. On the bottom of the shoe, the rubber outsole generates good grip for everyday wear, and the upper features a heel clip for extra support at the back of your foot.

What Shoppers Are Saying
Nike shoppers have really embraced the Dn8, and they say it nails both form and function—this is a cool-looking shoe that serves up a notably comfortable ride. One shopper called it “ultra comfortable” and another shopper agreed, noting the Dynamic Air system is much more than just a funky looking gimmick: “It feels bouncy and smooth, especially when walking long distances.”
Nike shoppers also felt the Dn8 performed well in the aesthetics department, always an important facet for casual sneakers. “Style-wise, they’re bold,” one shopper said. “The colorways and design are definitely eye-catching.”
With its feature-packed midsole and flowing, sculpted lines, the Air Max Dn8 is a standout—and considering Nike’s vast sneaker lineup, that’s really saying something. At $85, the only way you’d get a pair cheaper is by robbing a Foot Locker (and we don’t recommend that). Head over to Nike and lay claim to your pair today, because these shoes certainly won’t stay in stock long.
