Jimmy Kimmel has been seen at his lawyer’s office days after his late night talk show was suspended by ABC.

The 57-year-old host, who is said to be ‘furious’ over the decision to shelve Jimmy Kimmy Live! indefinitely after comments he made about the killing of Charlie Kirk, appeared to smirk as he drove into a Century City complex home to a number of law firms.

Photos show him arriving in a black Audi S8, where the New York Post reports he saw his lawyer Karl Austen for a four hour meeting on Thursday afternoon.

He was later spotted leaving the office and driving out of the back gate.

His appearance comes after source told the Daily Mail that Jimmy is now determined to end his relationship with ABC over the network’s decision.

‘Jimmy is p***** over the decision to suspend him and the show and he isn’t going to take this lightly, as he is actively looking for ways to get out of his contract,’ the insider told the outlet.

‘This is the last straw and Jimmy is now looking to forever break his relationship with ABC forever.’

According to the same source, Jimmy and Stephen Colbert are ‘looking to do something together to fight’ against Donald Trump’s administration.

His suspension followed on-air comments about political activist Kirk, who was shot and killed at the age of 31 while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10.

On Monday’s broadcast, Jimmy said: ‘We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang trying to characterise this kid who killed Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them.’

The source insisted Jimmy ‘didn’t even say anything that bad’ and argued his remarks should be protected under the First Amendment.

The insider also claimed Jimmy could encourage Hollywood figures to stop appearing on ABC programmes, including The View, where talent are said to be avoiding ‘fighting the system just yet’.

‘The panelists at The View want to see where all of this goes before they make mention of it, because they don’t want to be locked in the crosshairs of it all,’ a separate source told the Daily Mail.

‘They chose to avoid the controversy for their wellbeing, and they will all see where everything stands next week when the dust settles. Nobody is looking to fight the system just yet.’

A number of late night stars rallied behind Jimmy on Thursday, with Seth Myers accusing Donald Trump’s administration of ‘pursuing a crackdown on free speech’, adding: ‘We must all stand up for the principles of free expression. There’s a reason free speech is in the very first amendment.’

Stephen Colbert, whose own show is being ended by CBS in May 2026, attacked the move ‘indefinite’ removal of Jimmy as ‘blatant censorship’.

In a Q&A before Thursday’s Late Show taping, he added: ‘With an autocrat, you cannot give an inch. Jimmy, I stand with you and your staff 100%.’

Meanwhile, Jon Stewart sat at the Daily Show desk as he remained ‘patriotically obedient’ for the first act of the programme.

‘We have another fun, hilarious, administration-compliant show,’ he quipped.

He later joked of Trump’s visit to the UK: ‘Father has been gracing England with his legendary warmth and radiance, gazed upon him with a gait even more majestic than that of the Royal horses that pranced before him, he wowed the English with charm and intelligence and an undeniable sexual charisma that filled their air like a pheromone-packed London fog.’

President Trump, 79, previously welcomed the network’s decision to remove Jimmy from the airwaves.

Writing on Truth Social, he said: ‘Great News for America: The ratings challenged Jimmy Kimmel Show is CANCELLED. Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done. Kimmel has ZERO talent, and worse ratings than even Colbert, if that’s possible.

‘That leaves Jimmy and Seth, two total losers, on Fake News NBC. Their ratings are also horrible. Do it NBC!!! President DJT.’
