Teacher of dead girl found in D4vd’s car speaks out, claims ‘she ran away’ to Hollywood with him

The dead body discovered in D4vd’s Tesla was identified as missing teenager Celeste Rivas earlier this week. While police are yet to reveal the direction of their investigation, people have been widely circulating supposed “evidence” linking the singer to the 15-year-old.

The Los Angeles Police Department discovered the decomposing remains when people complained of a “foul odour” emanating from a Tesla in a tow yard. Her cause of death is yet to be revealed, but police did publish her identity on Wednesday.

Amidst alleged “evidence” of D4vd’s link to the teenager, her former teacher was shown in a video widely shared across TikTok, Twitter and Reddit.

Celeste Rivas’ teacher claims she ran away with D4vd

In a video originally posted on TikTok but shared by TMZ, believed to have been taken on Thursday, a man claimed to have taught Celeste Rivas when she originally began talking to D4vd. He claimed that Celeste and D4vd first began talking online, before she “ran away” to Hollywood with him

“Celeste was my student at Lakeland Village Middle School, and she told me she had met D4vd online. She ran away to Hollywood with him once, and the police brought her back to school. Then she disappeared again in May 2024,” he said in the clip.

Celeste went missing again in early 2024, according to the publication, and that was the last the teacher had heard of her before her body was identified on Wednesday. He also referred to another student who had allegedly been photographed with D4vd.

“Hold up, I got another one because I got a picture on TMZ of this other kid exchanging stuff with the rapper who allegedly did this stuff. Hold on a second because he’s also in my classroom,” he said.

Speaking to TMZ, the teacher said Celeste was constantly absent from school, though he was not aware of anything going on at home. He said he only shared the story with his students as a cautionary tale against the dangers of social media.

D4vd has been approached for comment.
