The singer D4vd, who burst into fame through a song called “Romantic Homicide” and Fortnite videos, has been dealt a new setback amid a police problem into the death of missing teenager Celeste Rivas.
Rivas’s partial human remains were discovered in the trunk of a Tesla registered to D4vd, which had been abandoned at a Hollywood tow lot. Although he has not been charged or accused by authorities in connection with the teen’s death, the setbacks continue to pile up for the singer as the investigation proceeds.
The latest: D4vd’s UK and European tours have now been cancelled, TMZ reported on September 20, noting that the European tour was supposed to start October 1. “The d4vd concert at Paradiso is canceled due to unknown circumstances. Refunds will be issued at point of purchase,” the website for tickets to the Amsterdam show says, according to TMZ.
NBC News previously reported that D4vd has cancelled the rest of his U.S. tour dates.
D4vd Has Lost Promotional Opportunities & Endorsement Deals as the Investigation Continues

- Crocs and Hollister removed D4vd from their advertising campaigns amid the investigation into Rivas’s death.
- D4vd’s music label Interscope is halting all “musical promotion” for the singer, including for his “upcoming deluxe album,” according to TMZ.
The series of cancellations comes despite the fact that D4vd has not even been named a suspect or person of interest in Rivas’s death. In fact, although the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the teen as Rivas in its online database, a cause of death has not yet been determined.
However, the scene was grisly, and a number of possible links between the teen and D4vd have been unearth, including possible photos showing them together, which the Los Angeles Timesreported police are investigating. In addition, his songs contain a great deal of death and bloody imagery. According to TMZ, D4vd and Rivas share the same tattoo, her mom said she was dating a person named David, police searched a home tied to the singer, and D4vd once recorded a song in which he mentions the name Celeste.
