Police in Atlanta have arrested a man in connection with the theft of hard drives containing unreleased music by Beyoncé.
The arrest comes after months of investigation into the July incident that shocked fans worldwide.
UNRELEASED BEYONCÉ MUSIC STOLEN
Authorities confirmed that Kelvin Evans is facing charges after allegedly breaking into a rented SUV belonging to members of Beyoncé’s team. This was during her Cowboy Carter tour stop in the city.
The thief broke into a parking garage, smashed the back window of a Jeep Wagoneer, and stole two suitcases.
Those stolen bags reportedly held hard drives, computers, set lists, and tour footage.

Police said the unreleased tracks were valued in the millions. If sold illegally, industry insiders estimate the recordings could fetch as much as R190 million on the black market.
A 911 call from the scene revealed the urgency of the theft. “They have my computers, and it’s really, really important information in there,” a distressed caller told police.
“I work with someone who’s of high status, and I really need my computer and everything.”
SUSPECT IN CUSTODY
Evans is now in custody at Fulton County Jail. He faces charges of entering an automobile with the intent to commit theft, according to CNN.
However, officers confirmed that the stolen drives have not yet been recovered.
