Deadline confirmed the news that Holland was hospitalized after the incident occurred during filming. He struck his head during a fall. According to the UK Sun, a woman who is believed to be a stunt double was also taken to the hospital. However, Deadline reported through sources that no one was affected except Holland.
What’s his condition? It appears that he will be fine. However, the injury was concerning enough that his father told the UK Sun he won’t be filming for a while. According to Variety, the movie won’t be released until July. It started filming in August 2025.

However, the Sun noted that Holland was healthy enough to attend a charity event over the weekend with his girlfriend, Zendaya. Still, according to that publication, “he left early after feeling ill.”
“It’s day one, my fourth ever day one on ‘Spider-Man. It’s funny, putting the suit on, it feels different this time, somehow. It’s also the first time we ever had fans on set day one, so it’s really exciting to share this with them,” Holland said in a video about the movie that was released by Sony, per Variety. “We’ve got some familiar faces on set. I’m just going to do my best.”
