The Tourism Performance Report for the second quarter of 2025 showcases iconic tourist attractions of ten districts in KwaZulu-Natal.
With Tourism Month drawing to an end, the KwaZulu-Natal Tourism and Film Authority Board announces the establishment of a District Champion system.
Board members have each been allocated a district champion role to enhance and sustain their tourism offerings.
As district champions, the board members are tasked with offering direct leadership, accountability, and interactions with local stakeholders.
“These Champions are not symbolic – they are a governance tool to guarantee cohesive planning, stronger partnerships with municipalities, and alignment of local tourism priorities with our provincial strategy,” said Chairperson of the Board, Dr Ndebele.
