Every single red flag in the first MAFS UK 2025 episode – and yes, there were plenty – Bundlezy

Every single red flag in the first MAFS UK 2025 episode – and yes, there were plenty

The chaos is already brewing. MAFS UK returned for its tenth season last night, and within one episode we’ve already got fire-eating grans, misogynistic stags and an unforgettable wedding rap.

In the first episode, we got to see the brides and grooms on their stag and hen dos, offering an early glimpse of personalities (and red flags) before the couples even met at the altar.

The series kicked off with Sarah and Dean whowere the first to say “I do”, followed by Davide and Keye. But while some couples were hopeful, the red flags were flying before the ink was dry on the marriage certificates. Here are all the biggest ones we clocked.

Anita’s hobbies are actually terrifying

Anita might be a Grandma, but don’t be fooled. With three grandchildren, she’s a helicopter pilot in training, has taken a solo trip to Ibiza, and casually learned how to eat fire. Sounds fun – but what happens if things go south? No one wants to end up in a fiery breakup, if you pardon the pun.

A man in finance… enough said

One groom, Steve, proudly declared he works in investment banking. Need we say more? A man in finance is always a red flag. High-pressure job, no time for a wife, and probably one of those guys who thinks “working late” is a personality.

Davide’s ‘pink jobs and blue jobs’ comment

Cabin crew member Davide wasted no time in airing his traditional views on marriage. At the stag, he announced: “There are pink jobs and blue jobs… blue jobs are boys’ jobs. In my last relationship, I had to do laundry and dishes. I was doing all the girls’ jobs.”

The women were visibly unimpressed, and midwife Grace later said: “He was suggesting that women should be doing ‘women’s jobs’. Which is b******t.” We’ll second that.

Sarah’s bad boy obsession

Sarah admitted she usually goes for “bad boys” and ignores the nice guys. Classic red flag behaviour – and when she was paired with Dean, who is clearly on the wholesome end of the spectrum, she immediately wasn’t feeling it. In her own words, she wasn’t “physically attracted” and said he was “over the top”. Brutal.

Dean’s wedding rap

The crown jewel of episode one’s red flags has to be Dean’s vows. He started strong, then whipped out a full-on wedding rap for his new wife. Sarah said it put her off and admitted she “doesn’t want to rip his clothes off”. Dean, on the other hand, thought it went brilliantly: “Sarah was loving it, the vibe test was off the scale.” Spoiler: it wasn’t.

By the end of episode one, we’ve already had delusion, cringe, and a hint of misogyny. If this is the starting point, we’re in for a very messy season.
