I really thought I was just coming to terms with every single element of Amy Bradley Is Missing and the twists in that case, but now Netflix has another cruise ship mystery show coming. This one is a psychological thriller film, and it sounds intense.
You may have read the book The Woman in Cabin 10 and been hooked on the drama of it, well now it’s coming to Netflix. And if you haven’t, you’ve got the whole story to look forward to. Here’s an explainer of what it’s all about, and when it’s due to drop on Netflix.

The Woman in Cabin 10 is a film adaption of the book with the same name, written by Ruth Ware. The story follows a journalist called Laura (played by Keira Knightly) who has excitingly been invited on a press trip for the maiden voyage of a lavish yacht. It should be the thing of dreams, a free trip with gorgeous accommodation, incredible food and surrounded by luxury.
But, right at the start of her journey, Laura believes she sees a woman being thrown overboard. When she raises the alarm, she’s told that it didn’t happen, and everyone on the ship has been accounted for. So who is the woman she saw? Is Laura being gaslit? What really happened? Despite no one believing her, she continues to look for answers, putting her own life in danger.
The Netflix synopsis reads: “On a lavish yacht for an assignment, a journalist sees a passenger go overboard. But when no one believes her, she risks her life to uncover the truth.” We really don’t have long to wait, as it drops on October 10th 2025.
