Film fans are in floods of tears, and truly ‘obsessulated’, after a new trailer for Wicked: For Good finally dropped.

The second part of the musical adaptation will be released in cinemas on November 21, with Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande reprising their roles as Elphaba and Glinda respectively.

In the new teaser, the pair face off and trade barbs before giving us glimpses of the bond we’ve come to adore – spliced between snippets of them belting out Thank Goodness, No Good Deed, and more.

At one tense point, Glinda’s wedding ceremony to Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey) appears to be interrupted by a stampede of angry animals, leading a furious Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh) to spit: ‘This is the work of the Wicked Witch!’

The footage ends with a goosebump-inducing scene showing the Good Witch telling her best friend, ‘Think of what we could do together.’

While we’re already holding space for whatever the upcoming press tour has in store, one particular line from Elphaba had everyone demanding awards all around.

‘Just look at me. Not with your eyes, with theirs,’ she demanded, leaving everyone in floods of tears.

Flocking to the comments below the trailer on YouTube, danihofprojects24 penned: ‘”Just look at me, not with your eyes, with theirs.” Is a criminally well written line.’

‘”Just look at me, not with your eyes, but theirs.” Whoever wrote this line deserves a promotion & a raise,’ @AngelXCX2007 agreed.

ACinemafanatic penned: ‘Cynthia’s delivery of “just look at me not with your eyes, but theirs” just made me bawl give her the Oscar now.’

SabinaCabanero sobbed: ‘Just look at me, not with your eyes….but theirs. Knowing what it means oh gosh my heart breaks.’

As erishii2044 added: ‘“Just look at me, not with your eyes, with theirs.” And the way her face changes and as she realizes it. I’m crying so hard.’

Honestly, hard same.
